Nearly got my first....

Hey all went the course again yesterday.

I nearly chipped in for eagle!!!

I couldnt believe it was so close,i had to go over a bunker and everything!

I done a good score mind 82,with 3 birdies and like 9 birdie chances!

I am improving,but my short game is terrible especially my putting

Sorry to take your thunder but I got an Eagle yesterday - I had 8 points after 2 holes - then 8 points after 4 holes

82 is respectable mate, im sure an eagle will come mate if you continue to make scores like that. just concentrate one taking a few more of those birdie chances! 9 chances is great.

There is a great eagle chance hole at a course near me. A 300 yard par 4 slightly down hill, tree lined on both sides and nothing infront of the green. Take out your hardest ball, play a slight draw and you should be on. I did it last month, just and left myself a 25 fter for Eagle.... it lipped out! easy birdie though!

Keep it going, Davethepro had one last month, lovely to see and better to do i expect.

Having got one myself recently it is a great feeling, don't give up it could come at any time and will eventually happen. It's great to be able to look back at what is usually a par 5 and therefore pretty long and think wow I got the ball from there to here in 3 shots. It really makes you feel good.
