This is probably a shot in the dark, and perhaps a pointless question, but I'll try anyway, because it's bugging me...

When I used to play as a youngster, around 25 to 30 years ago, there was a putter I really wanted, but couldn't afford. I can't remember the make, though it might have been Maxfli. All I can remember is that it had a black head, matt black, relatively traditional cavity back blade style, and what really appealed to me as a kid is that it came in three sizes...small, medium and large.

I've searched several times, but can't find the putter, so was hoping someone here of similar age to me, (late 30s, early 40s), might have also seen these putters back in the early 80s and know what I'm talking about.

Could it be the Slotline Big Moment?

Well that name doesn't ring a bell, but I think you might have got the answer for me! I just did a quick search and came up with this one, which looks just like what I remember, except the side bits at the back were white I thought, not beige/golden.

Funny how relatively plain and bland things can fascinate a 9 to 10 year old child. I remember wanting one so badly!!

Thanks madandra! You win a broken wooden tee! ;)
