How did the match work out - was it matchplay (who beat who) or based on stableford scores. I've seen there was an individual winner (el bandito) but what was the match score and how was it derived.

I just felt sorry for poor old vig...I saw his little eyes light up when he was given the bottle as a prize and I knew he wanted it sooooooooooo much! lmfao

My version is,when we had finished our meal,Keef and vig got together,sat down with their colouring books,abacus,and gps,came up with a figure of their 2 grannies ages combined,divided by 3 and came to the conclusion that, N.E 5 points, N.W.2 points,may i add at this point,when the game began,it was all smiles,with Keef with his gps,giving us all the yardages,bunkers etc,and managed somehow to get 2 up,however when we squared the match,the gps vanished,the smiles vanished, even gave us(me and evita) duff info as to the yardage to the elbow of a dogleg and we left it miles short,Keef and tincup's bro (andy) hope you slept well

I'm offended & hurt at these allegations of bad gamesmanship!!! We used our toes and there was no abacus involvement at all!
Firstly - it is Vig's gps and it only works if you're born on the east side of the pennines!
Secondly - I only offered one duff piece of info when I told evita he was 194yds away when he was only 134yds...the fact I cracked up laughing and then told him the real yardage was a dead giveaway! lol
Thirdly - you're only bitter coz we opened up a massive can of whuppass on you two, and in every sense of the word made you our bitches
And for the record...I slept like a baby last night

Re the longest drive -thought you has to be on the fairway not the green!!!

Yeah to beat that longest drive you would have had to have been way off the back of the green.....
I thought i had done well when i was a yard short of the green then i saw the longest drivew marker at the back.... and then to find out that was a 3 wood..

measured the longest drive today.... 293yds .... with a 3 wood. I absolutely creamed mine today and made 265.. Well done that man.
I actually got an Eagle on that hole today.... 24 hrs too late.. but still wouldn't have taken the prize.
On the GPS issue. I leant Keef it. I have done some edits on the yardage that I understand, but, didn't tell Keef (well you wouldn't would you). I would have loved to have seen Andy's shot to that green that is still bouncing down the road.
I will be more than happy to team up with toon again and have him carry me. there is a great game in there that will come out at the next meet. A far better looking swing that mine. Jealous Moi? you bet!
