My swing

If you going to use alignment sticks, the one next to your toes, put paralell to target line. The second stick use outside your ball but turn it out to 1 o'clock and this might help you drop the club on the inside.

Looks to me like you just need to attack the ball from the inside rather than the loop over the top. Get an Inside Approach device.

A bit like this: (I' mthe red block, obviously :D)

Bob's on the money, looks like a good take away, but then a big loop into a Out to In downswing, hence the fade/slice.

I'd suspect that you'll have to break it down, perhaps stopping at the top of the backswing, and then start the downswing 'on plane' or from the inside to get things right.
I'm no coach, but I think you're body/hips are starting thru before you've finished the backswing which is meaning that everything comes across on the way down .....

Perhaps........

Good temp though.

I fear for that angled alignment stick, hope those 57's are insured

Maybe try a piece of tape or string before you risk launching the stick into the range :D :D

I assume you must have a fantastic short game if you want to get to single figures ? ;) ;) ;)

As Bob says it's the loop that is the main problem. How you miss the outside stick i don't know. Oh that's right you didn't.

:D

Which swing did I hit the stick on? The only time I see it move is on one of the 3 wood shots, but it jumps up because I hit the mat.

Bit OTT don't you think?

What is? My swing?
.

Yea, sorry :p

If you looped the other way you'd have a swing!

Have you tried:

A steeper backswing, a bit more of a pause at the top, letting gravity start the club back down rather than pulling the club down, aiming for a section of the ball (rather than just, the ball) e.g. 5 o'clock as you look down at the ball?

I'm sure you'll get there.

Big up to you mate for puting it up,have you got Sean Brady on speed dial :D :D.

My 2p worth a good back swing along the line of the alignment stick try and get the follow thru along the line of it as well but to the 1 o'clock position it will feel strange at first but try it ,you'll get a straighter shot even a small draw .

Just my thoughts, keep it up mate don't get to down if it doesn't work right away.

Cheers mate. Got nothing to hide. I know I have a pretty weak swing, that's what you get when you don't play for 4 years!

Will focus more on finishing the follow through at the 1 o'clock.

Open question - when drilling new drills, am I best to drill the same swing with one club, or do a number of balls with each club in the bag?

My Opinion aztecs is that the backwswing is fine. But and this is a big but, its a massive cast over the top. This is why the ball will start left and fade back straight on a good one. A bad one will be a straight pull or a slice. Type in on google drills on attacking the ball from the inside.
Hope this helps :)
