My Masters observations...

No it's always a par 3. If you look at Augusta on google earth you can see how open it is in place. Only the crowds and stands make it look tighter.

I reckon I could easily score at least 38pts round there with a couple of blobs :D

A young guy I know of +1 played it as a guest, he scored 86 with 48 putts

I remember Ken Brown as a player, and he was the dullest, moodiest player on tour. To me his 'tv character' is manufactured.

Think Roy Keane turning into Michael McIntyre.

and slowest as well. The irony eh!

Quite a double act with Mark James though.

Wayne Riley's persona on tour wasn't great either.

That putt was mad. Even having seen it I don't think I could have set it on that line and hit it so gently. Wonderful touch and classy ending for him. I would have loved it to go in but the putt was so good that it didn't matter.

I know the last Ryder Cup did not go well for Watson but his demeanor and classiness on the course puts that into the forgotten part of history and rightly so.

I know someone took the hump on the main Masters thread about Montgomerie saying how many putts amateurs would take at Augusta but when you see greens and putts like that you can see where he is coming from.

Does Charley Hoffman always wear a green glove or just for the Masters? If its the former, is there a reason why?

always wears a green one ,one of his main sponsors is Waste Management whos colours are green and i think yellow ,but he isnt going to wear a yellow glove methinks.
