I would be gutted if I hit one 395 yards. A measly 5 extra yards and you would be in the 400 Club.C'mon boys....keep em coming!! Surely somone on here has broken the 400 barrier?![]()

Not to validate his claims but in 18 months of golf I got my first handicap of 17 and then got down to 11.7 AND drove the ball 378 yards... Once... Although I did have a handful in the 320 range...
Its not impossible to do but I shudder when I think how much I spent on lessons, it was easily twice what I spent putting together my first set of proper golf clubs (not my £120 starter set)!
Big difference between 18 months and 6 mate
It took you 4 to get down from 17 yards off the green?
Now that is funny...![]()
Or putting for a birdie two, and needing to hole a bunker shot for a par.Nope, a 5 putt in my 1st medal was funny... I was putting for par from 2 or 3 feet and walked off with an 8.
I think the only was I could do this is by hitting it into the back of someones buggy as the drove down the fairway
I'm going with chip and a three putt. Drive for show...![]()
Wouldn't your Pro mate - who gives you lessons for free - have been able to tell you?do you think a pro can sort it out? its about a 50 yard slice but i can live with it as its consistent but would love it to go i was hitting it straight a month ago 250 yards now its like a banana
Total wind up merchant imo.
