I know, last night I was checking the soles every other shot. I hate that green stuff that sticks to the bottom, gives me heart attack thinking the soles are scuffed. Good indication to see if the lie angle is correct though. I did doubt the 1* upright but It seemed to all be centre sole!

I find its the little bits of grit around the edges of the green (probably from bunkers) that chip away at all the clubs I use to hit chip and runs or pitches
