start off with midweek medal on the wednesday 4th, full summer rules so back onto the whites, and no preferred lies

friday 6th its 3 clubs and a putter stableford, never done this before really looking forward to it

and monday the 9th pairs BB stableford

cant wait!! been a long winter!!!

Our 1st Comp of the new Season is the 4th April too, Midweek Stableford

This Sunday we have the 1st medal of the new season. Then on the 8th we have an away match against another local club, more a social thing than serious golf. Looking forward to this season getting fully underway.

Competitions started beginning of March at my club but mt first one is Saunton 36 hole open on Easter Monday. I'm not playing any club comps this year, just going to concentrate on opens.

Well the season at Taunton Vale starts on Saturday 31st March.

We have the 1st Monthly Medal which will be played off 'White' Tees.

They are also opening the new 9th green, which will be very interesting! It looks horrible to putt on, hardly a flat spot in sight! It adds another 30/40 yards to the hole and anything left of the green you are OB.

So a hole which doesn't usually cause any issues could now become a serious car wrecker!

We have the Masters which starts on the 5th, I'll be watching that every night!

Then 23rd/24th April I am off the to The Belfry which I am very much looking forward too!

Good Friday morning playing in an Am-Am, brother arrives in the afternoon for a weekends golf. Monthly Medal on the Saturday back onto the Whites, Captain vs Vice-Captain match Sunday morning (brother playing as a guest), followed by an afternoon two ball. Easter Monday morning we'll play a different local course - happy days!

Golf every day We have a big event, play any two days over the four but I'll probably play a game on Friday, see how it goes and then enter it on Saturday. Review my position and form and maybe go for it on Sunday if I'm in the slot. If not practice Sunday and finish it off Monday. Of course the forecast plays a big part too
