So my grandson turns up with this homework question !

"There are only 8 two-digit numbers with 5 ones. Is that right?"

Stumped me!!
 
I dont get this? 10-99 two digit numbers so thats 90. its along time since I've been to school so probably got this wrong

I found 10,11,12,13,14,15,16,17,18,19, 21.31,41,51,61,71,81,91 ! Which is a few more than 8 !!

I don't even understand the question. It's the "5 ones" bit I don't get. How can you have a two digit number with "5 ones" in it?

Not sure if its 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, 57, 58.... no, that doesn't look right...

My head is telling me, 15, 25, 35, 45, 55, 65, 75, 85.

Honestly, its that long ago I can't remember. Label me thick.
 
Is the question hand written or word processed? It looks like an auto spelling & grammar error to me, it's nonsense.

Here's a fairly straightforward one:

There is only one positive integer which is exactly twice the sum of its digits. Find this two digit number.
(No googling please)
