My 3rd and final round. I'm buzzing!!!!

Just thought I'd share my joy of the round I've just played even though I don't like coming on here and bragging and boring people with hole by hole accounts.

Just handed in my last handicap card and it was my best EVER round. 84!! My best by 6 shots. Played steady all the way round even though my putting let me down on a few holes.

My previous round was 102 so I was dreading today.

My three cards with my bad holes taken down to double bogie have been 90, 98 & 84. What should my handicap be as I believe they've changed how the work them out?

Nice shooting. Your handicap should be set off the best of your 3 cards but some handicap secretaries will make some allowance for the other cards.

Assuming you had nothing worse than a double bogey and par is 72, your handicap should be 12 but I'd imagine you'd probably get 15-16.

It tends to be the lowest of the three scores less SSS.
