Murrayshall Golf Course

Just read a post on the Facebook page of Golf Scotland. The club are offering a round of golf on the championship course on Sunday 1st July 2012 for £20.12. This sounds like a really good deal.

Not sure whether I should have posted in arrange a game instead though !!

That is one of the reasons I left Murrayshall. Go for a game on a Sunday and the place was over-run with weegies with mobile phones stuck to their ear who don't have a clue, driving buggies over tees and greens and taking more than five hours for a round. It would be cheaper to have 20 rounds of their offer than pay full membership.

After playing their ladies open this week I was given a voucher for two people to play for £50. Not such a good deal as I thought then!

I'm a member at Murrayshall and its getting in very good condition now, another few days of warm weather and the GIR bits should be complete, The Lyndoch is also an excellent course and is much harder.

Good offer for a round that. Always good idea to book as most Saturday mornings there is a competition on.
