MP15, is there a new version due out?

not sure they would as they had the MP25 which is sort of aimed at the same players.

but if they are its usually sept/oct Mizuno bring stuff out

Its a distinct possibility that there could be a MP15 replacement this year.
Mizuno generally have 3 MP models IIRC, full blade (MP5 which replaced MP4), cavity back (MP25 which replaced MP54) and Ti muscle back (MP15 which replaced MP59).

So its not inconceivable that a MP16 or similar would not appear toward the end of the year.

JPX EZ replacements are just out for the GI range.

Are you sure the MP5 replaced the 4 Greig, Mizuno are still selling MP4's and the fitting centre in Inverness said the 5 was a diff line??

MP5 was bigger than MP4 and with the channel back thingy is supposed to be more forgiving than the MP4 if I remember the marketing line correctly from the time they came out, so not a direct replacement.

The MP5 was supposed to replace the MP4 as the premium iron in the range, but Mizuno realised there was still a market and demand for MP4, so they kept it in the range. They have done this before, with MP33, for example.

MP15 would be likely updated at the end of this season to, presumably, MP16.

Thanks for the replies. I love the MP15, but didn't want to buy them if they are about to release a newer version that might have been better, or I could have got the MP15 for a knock down price.

BTW, if your thinking of getting a new set then try them out with the C-Taper 120 shaft. I have never had such a consistent distance and accuracy on a GC2 before.
