More than Hairdryers from Fergie

Absolute codswallop mate

Watch it again later on MOTD2 and this time take your United hating glasses off:whistle:

Also dont remember the big fuss on here a couple of weeks ago when Webb failed to send Ballotelli off against Spurs before he went on to win the match, or is that alright because it helped Uniteds rivals to 3 points:mmm:

I couldnt give two fxxks about Man Utd. I only hate Liverpool and Spurs. What I hate is god darn awful decisions week in week out by referees who never answer why they gave dodgy decisions that ultimatly could cost a club 40 million pounds with their awful decisions.

Chelski fans were leaving the ground on 85 mins... call them fans!!!!

good result for Liverpool tbh, just need to beat spurs tomorrow now

I agree with this statement. A lot of Chelsea fans use to leave between 80-85 mins because they needed to catch the tube and dont like waiting. Fulham broadway is a tiny underground station and it can take you a hour to clear this station after the game, no good if you have to catch an interconnecting train to get home. Anfield doesnt have this problem as it doesnt have an underground.

Do you honestly think they make mistakes on purpose?
You want to try doing it. You get no thanks from anyone just abuse from everyone.

They have to give it as they see it, they don't have replays. The game is so fast these days, players diving all over the place and they have to have eyes in the back of their heads...

The biggest problem with Football is the cheating Barstewards who play it.
I'm fed up with watching it because all you get all the time is whingers. Managers, players, fans, pundits all whinging all the time. Fergie is no better or worse than Wenger, Dalgeish, AVB, Redknapp etc etc etc etc etc....

A bunch of whingers.

The answer is..............video referees

Not while Blatter's in charge and even if it does come in I can't see them looking at every incident so until then we'll just have to put up with Whingers....

Im not saying look at every decision. Im talking penalty decisions, straight reds and wether the ball crossed the line. There should be an option for the ref to call upon someone else to help their decision if it could change the course of the game/championship. At the moment the linesmen dont seem to ever see anything.

Watched this game this afternoon. Quite a good game from a neutral point of view.

Is it just me though that thinks the vast majority of Premiership players are cheating diving con artists? Can't just tar Utd for the penalties, saw several of Chelsea's (continental) players throwing themselves theatrically to the floor following minimum contact.

It may not be as good quality, but I'm glad I pay to watch lower league (proper) football.:smirk:

and then people moan about challenges 25yrds out when someone scores!!!

Once you start down the video referee's then it will be for the whole of the pitch.

i wouldn't normally come down on Man U's side, but wont defend the obvious. I wanted a draw in this match today, so was slightly ambivalent/neutral. The way I saw the decisions, some only from replay, as I didn't watch the 1st half.

Ashley young - penalty - don't know why Webb chose to ignore it.
Wellbeck - outside the box, slightly going away from goal, but still could have had a shot on target, could understand erring on the side of a yellow - defo a foul.

Evra - penalty, definitely, Sturridge got none of the ball.
Wellbeck - TBH If you watch closely Wellbeck moves his foot towards Ivanovics, no penalty, but could understand Webb only having one view and after seeing contact gives it.

Back to slightly biased - I do think Webb favours Man U in decisions normally, you could argue that he did give man U 2 pens, you could argue he should give them 3. That said, a 66.6% ratio for penalty decisions in your favour is very high.

The problem isnt the video refs, its respect within the game thats the problem, players dont respect the refs so then the fans feel they can shout what they want at the ref. They have no respect for fellow colleagues when lunging in for dangerous tackles just so they can earn that extra few quid. If people had more respect for the refs and the jobs they did then we would have 10times the amount of refs coming through the ranks instead its an unwanted job. Look at the rugby yeah the ref may make some strange decisions but they talk about it for 30 secs and its forgotten where as we will have replays of both pens for the coming week.
