By the time most of you read this it will be Thursday morning and Masters fever will surely be taking hold. If you have any more questions, Paul and I will try and do some digging to provide some answers.

In the meantime I suggest you read the transcript of Billy Payne's telling off of Tiger. I shall post it in the blog section of our Masters site asap.

Thanks,

Hi Neil hope alls well and you are having a good time, ope youve had some luck with the signed hat for my little boy Ryan i will be eternally gratefull. My question is they have just added an extra ten minute programme to the red button over here just to show Tiger teeing off, what is the reaction of the media over there to Tiger is this masters going to be all about one player? And what feeling do you get from the other players about Tiger.

Hi Neil, hope you're enjoying the build up.

Bit of a tough one.

Titleist is advertised as being the No1 ball in golf and I believe Srixon is coming up 2nd.
Is this statement true for the Masters? Are there other manufacturers closing in as the pros preferred choice?

Is there a clear favourite amoungst those inside the ropes at this early stage? Is anyone looking rather sharp and conident?

How fast are the greens running?

is anyone particularly bothered about how the balls will react on the greens this year compared to last with the new grooves?

Does the fact the course looks like it may play a wee tad shorter due to the fine waether mean a pea shooter may be able to compete or will it still be a big boy winner??

In the same vein as the question about ball brands above, do you know if any of the pro's are using TM's Penta ball, or have you heard any opinions about it?
I would have thought most of the pro's will have tried it since it's (supposedly) new technology.

Given the obesity problem in America, the heat and the number of hills at Augusta, do most patrons park themselves in one spot for the day or is there much 'roaming' between holes.

What's the temperature difference between the early morning and mid afternoon, and does this give any advantage to later tee times as balls warm up and fly further later in the day?

In your opinion is there a natural shot shape that gives an advantage around Augusta i.e draw, fade, high flight etc

What's the percentage of players playing "adjustable" drivers versus non-adjustable?

Of those playing adjustable ones, is there a bias towards closed or open set ups?

Hi Neil,

What was Freddie Couples wearing on his feet? He looked like he'd gone straight from the car to the course and forgotten to change his shoes. From what I could see, there were no studs, but I don't have HD so may be wrong.

Neil watching the golf this week and listening to the commentators one said last night that a lot of the holes needed a draw shot, how are the faders coping and how do they adapt there game for the course.

Did Sandy Lyle either forget when putting in his fantastic rd1 score he'd booked his return flight to London for Friday night or realise during rd2 he'd not booked any accommodation for the weekend? ;) Curious as to his dramatic change in fortunes.

After rounds like he, Woosie and Cambo had do they hang about afterwards hoping someone wants to speak to them or do they make a sharp exit?

They have a lot of plasters on their right arms from scratches received from tree branches.
