More Hogan gems...well it's winter so watch it.

Right troops, being a big Hogan fan and considering there's a few new golfers on this forum I thought I would show these two vids. If you've seen this then watch again.

In the first one when Hogan's being interviewed early on take a look at the guys in the background, one guy is turning the club way inside on his backswing. Also, just look at Hogans putting style, all wrist, something that’s rarely seen today at club level never mind the pros. If Hogan’s putting was his achilles heel then it sure didn’t show in the first film.

take a look at the guys in the background, one guy is turning the club way inside on his backswing.

Ah, Tommo, you're a man after my own heart, one plane swing, club takes an inside path and just look at the right wrist position in the pic below (from the second clip)...

...maintains an angle (flying wedge) in the right wrist, club/forearms/wrists do NOT roll over shutting the clubface (as evidenced by the fact the clubface is still short of vertical). Lovely.



If I could find a one plane swing that takes the hand path inside and uses that flying wedge position I'd certainly give it a try.... :D
