I played an old guy in a tie this year who watched Hogan win the Open in '53. The guy must have been sick of me asking questions by the end of the round.
I've never been more jealous of anyone in my life.

If you put your cursor on the ball you can see just how much he is hitting down on the ball, he doesn't take the divot until well after impact

Hogan is a great example to the novice, when I look at so many people struggling with their game, often keeping a very high h/c for ages, one of the obvious visual problems they all seem to have is far too big a back swing and too much stretching out. The first clip shows minimal backswing and more compact throughout. There is of course a lot more to it but golfers I see all too often having problems do the oposite.
