I’m always on the lookout for Ben Hogan U tube vids. Never seen this one before and although it’s a bit iffy the last few bits really show how good this swing is. The top of his backswing hardly goes above shoulder height. Remember the top pros used to go watch Hogan.

The Best. Very nice clip TOMO. Like on poster has already said, "It's like you're there, watching"
I played an old guy in a tie this year who watched Hogan win the Open in '53. The guy must have been sick of me asking questions by the end of the round.
I've never been more jealous of anyone in my life.

Is that not the most beautiful swing you ever saw??? I could watch him repeat that allllllll day. Effortless!

If you put your cursor on the ball you can see just how much he is hitting down on the ball, he doesn't take the divot until well after impact

if you look carefully you'll notice that the harder he hits the ball the earlier he sets the hips in motion, creating a stronger whip action. Nice vid (felt less sick as the camera jiggling eased).

Hogan is a great example to the novice, when I look at so many people struggling with their game, often keeping a very high h/c for ages, one of the obvious visual problems they all seem to have is far too big a back swing and too much stretching out. The first clip shows minimal backswing and more compact throughout. There is of course a lot more to it but golfers I see all too often having problems do the oposite.
