If you go through youtube, look at all his stuff, hes the only pro that other pros stop or go to watch. In his best years Hogan was god.

Doubt he would use modern gear, Hogan would probably see it as cheating!

I read his book "the 5 fundamentals.." for the first time a few weeks ago, and it was like a lightbulb going off in my head, it was so simple and well written - light years ahead of his time, and from speaking to the pro I've been getting lessons from is the perfect tempo and plane.

I think he'd spank Tiger if he was in his prime now (Tiger would probably like that too...

There is a theory that Hogan caused a generation of slicers as his technique was designed to prevent a hook which was his bad shot in the early years, and everyone else tried to copy him. You cannot deny it was a beautiful swing though and makes me wish I could have seen him play.
