Hopefully, most of you have seen the headcover drill which encourages you to swing more in to square to in which should help you cure the out to in swing.
But, how does it feel so swing in to out?
Below is a video of a drill I feel can help.
Start with 2 towels rolled up to give height but also length to show you the swing path.
Set yourself up square to the path at about 45 degrees to the right of where the mat points indicated by the towels and hit a few balls. Then, without changing your target or swing path, aim left a touch but still swing towards your original target.
Then more left, and more left until you start to hit the towels.
This will help you feel the swing going in to out in relation to your body turning left (sorry lefties).
And the good news is...if you hit the towels, they wont fly down the range.:smirk:
However, if you have difficulties at the start, try the ball on a low tee and just use half swings with a 7 iron.
