Another vote for Rory. He absolutely steam-rolled it and given what happened at Augusta makes it even more impressive. To perform as he did after such a blow-up was spectacular. Serious kudos.

Has to be McIlroy. To play that well with al those demons of Augusta so fresh in the memory was awesome. Everyone was playing for 2nd place by Saturday let alone by the time the last round started. No fear and as good a major performance as anything Nicklaus or Woods produced

Although Clarkes Open was my favorite result the most impressive for me was Rory.

The margin he won by, the comeback after the Masters, his young age ... so many reasons ...for me it is the outstanding result of the ones listed.
