Well not quite but i did get a tax rebate of £93 so thought i would treat myself to some new golf shoes as the leather is cracked in mine and i end up with soaking wet feet after 5 mins of hunting round in the wet rough and leaves looking for my ball.

I've been looking at either footjoy dryjoys or addidas tour 360's 4.0 or maybe splashing out abit extra and getting footjoy icons.

Anyone own or owned any of these and can reccomend them or not?

Adidas are really comfortable but the leather doesn't tend to last that long if you dont clean them often and dry them off etc. Basically only wear them when its dry and nice eg a summer shoe. I have just got some nike ones for the winter and a lot of our lads swear by them.

Currently have the adidas 360 4.0's and their a pretty decent shoe, sturdy and strong !! But if I were u I would get the FJ icons due to their sheer class !! But have u had a look at the FJ sports?? About £90 and still a really good shoe !?

Have had 3 pairs of Adidas 360s since they came out cracking shoes really comfy, picked up a bargain today in our pro shop Adi Pure's for £80 happy days.

Hmm may give the addidas a miss then as i want them for playing over the winter when it's going to to be wet and they are more likely to get abit scuffed up.

I've got both makes and I've returned 3 pairs of Footjoy's. Two pair's for leaking and one pair for something loose in the sole (Squeeking). The forth pair leak but not bad enough to soak your feet. I bought Dryjoys for the name they have in quality and have been a bit disappointed.

My Adipure and 360 Tour Ltd are as comfy as you will get as for how waterproof they are, I have got to say one pair are white (Not used in the rain) the Adipure's are black and I have only wore them a few times in the rain (Dry feet). The truth is I bought the Dryjoys to keep my feet dry and they have failed me and the Adidas for comfy summer shoes and they have been great.

why not consider the nike air zoom tw 2010. now the 2011's have come out you can pick them up for £80-£90. i have some, and pair of 360's too. both are great but i'm leaning towards the nike

I got a pair of FootJoy DryJoy Pods to test from GM nearly 3 years ago and they're still in tip top shape in spite of the weather I play in. I am a rain god. It aims for me. Highly recommended.

I must admit, I had of DryJoy PODS and they did leak, so swapped to a pair of normal DryJoys, which I've probably had for a couple of years now and not had any problems with leaking (although I do alternate between about 2\3 pairs).

Wearing FJ Sports at the moment, and again, probably used them for 6 months and not had any issues with splitting or leaking.

I would recommend the footjoys too, I have a few pairs myjoy icons and icon sports.
I have never had any problem with them and think they're great.

If you can add a little bit more to your rebate, I would say go for a nice pair of myjoys.

Got several pairs of Icons and they are brilliant and so comfortable. That said the dryjoys are still in my opinion the best value for money shoe on the market. I've had a pair for the last 10 years and they only gave up the ghost this year. With careful looking after they should last and last. FJ all the way for me

Ive got Adidas, they are 18 month and never had even slightly damp feet yet. Fully waterproof they are! Oh and very comfy too. They also look much smarter than any FJ'S

I am normally a FJ bloke but won a pair of Ecco Classic GTX shoes about a year ago. I kept them and have been pleasantly surprised. They are the best shoes I have ever had in terms of performance and I can't recommend them highly enough.

That said, they went the best looking shoes I have owned. I did have some myJoys in fake crocodile print that said Snelly on the heel! They were the dogs cojones!

Can't go wrong with top end Ecco though.. Not a fan of Adidas or Nike for golf shoes - doesn't seem right to me as they make sports shoes... I am a snob though!

currently using FJ Sports. the first pair i has split but the second pair replaced use warrenty have been faultless, we have sort of worked out that the issues must have been with a first batch, as the second pair i got as replacement has a different liner and insole, almost as if they needed to identify which batch they were from.

I used these guys http://www.golfshoesdirect.co.uk/ they seem around 20% cheaper than any other online retailer, and their customer service is superb.

MY FJ sports were £95 - £99 anywhere online, i paid £76 with free shipping. ordered them at 2pm on the tuesday, once i had placed the order phoned them as i had split my shoes on the monday and had a game planned for wednesday, they was here 10am the next day. their replacement warrenty service was equally as impressive

I've had adidas and nike shoes before the adi split within a couple of weeks and the nike were about as waterproof as a pair of flip-flops. Have 2 pairs of dryjoys and booth have been excellent. I still have my FJ LT shoes that are 4 years old now and are still going strong. The one thing I did notice with FJ, was my first pair of dryjoys which I got in wide fit. Once they had been worn for a few months and the leather stretched they were too wide, I now use these for winter with a thicker pair of socks. The new one’s I got in reg size and wore them in gradually ( around the house and at the range).

FJ AQL, LoPro and Softjoy - no problems with any.
I had a pair of Adidas, not sure which as they've gone in the bin - sizing is an issue with them which is why I'm losing my toenail.

I used to be Footjoy all the way but a few people I know have had quality issues with the newer designs. Based on that I bought a pair of Hi-Tec as they were the only other make in the pro shop and I had credits to use and so far they have been faultless
