Looking at venturing into the spikeless shoe craze now the dry weather is here. Problem is I have never owned a pair so do now know how I will get on with them. With moving to California in a months time I am not too bothered how they will perform on wet ground as I would not wear them anyway. I currently wear ADIZERO and DRYJOYS so not really interested in any other makes apart from ADIDAS and FOOTJOY. The shoes I am looking at are these:

Just wondering if anyone has these shoes, or know how well they do perform. The obvious pair that stand out are the ADICROSS Tour because as they are at a great price.

Ill be interested in the replies to this.... Im in the process of buying a new pair as well and im torn between a normal pair and one of the new spikeless offerings... My Achilles have been giving me trouble again on both legs and my Adidas Tour 360 ATV's are killing me to walk in them.... I need something way more comfy and a lot lighter....

What about the FJ AWD that is out soon. Quite fancy a pair if them myself.

Still think you should get to Diwntown and try a pair of Stuburt Urban 2s. Love mine

Adicross were my favourites (and they are still a damn fine shoes) but Puma Monolites have been worn all weekend and they feel great, soooooo comfortable to wear. My Adizero Sport (first version) will be getting an extended runout soon too :)

I know they aren't on your list the FJ Sport are a good choice, very comfy.

I have the Adizero sport - soft , light and very comfy

Better than my Cardiffs and my old Adicrosses

Highly recommend them

Played 36 holes in them the first time I wore them and were like slippers !

save your money til you get t'other side of pond, why take luggage you can get cheaper when you land

To be honest there is not much in the price, only a few quid. Not like the old days where you got 2 dollars to your pound. I just would like to try some as my feet are knackered (thanks to military issued footwear) and after playing 3 games on the trot last weekend they where aching on Monday. J

ust wondering if people find spikeless shoes to more friendly on your feet as your are dispersing the weight over the whole foot rather than on certain points where the studs are.

Same as my ADIZERO Tour. wore them at the FOA, put them on at 10:00am still had them on at 7:00pm and my feet where fine and that was the first time I wore them. Leaning more towards ADIDAS, but would consider the FOOTJOY.

They are very comfy

AG have them in store - would try them on then get them from clubhouse or function 18

Adey, I got the nike canvas ones from sports direct, £40 and were like slippers out the box. I went with the canvas as I hate sweaty feet,

I purchased mine on the Thursday, wore them to Celtic manor on the Friday, played Friday and Saturday and wore them home, no blisters or sores... Great shoes,

Can't wear NIKE for some reason OS, they never seem to fit me properly, it is the same with their football boots and tennis shoes. I am a bit of an ADIDAS man. Not just golf shoes, but footie boots and tennis shoes too, I find I can always wear them straight from the box with no problems.

i probably will one day, but I promise not to go back to the shop and blame the shoes.....

Just read that and I'm speechless ( well nearly :D )

But seriously if you get the Adizero sport you will not be disappointed - best Spikeless I have had

I have the Ecco spikless which cost around £150.00. I also have the Adizeros with the dubious spikes, which are by far the most comfy and i've never slipped in them.
Where as with the Ecco spikeless i've slipped a few times , and found them far from comfortable.

Some one tell me, please, what's the difference between spikeless shoes and a good quality pair of trainers? And most courses bar trainers, don't they?
