Does anyone play with these clubs ?
Are they any good for mid handicapper ?
They look so neat, compact and Sexy !!!!

Are they quite a forgiving iron then or do you get that rattle through your bones a lot if you mis-hit ??!!

I have a set of MX19s and said I would get new clubs if/when I reach single figures. Bored of that now (hcp not moving) so am looking longingly at the MX200s too.

I'm in a similar position: I currently use MX-17s and want to wait till my handicap improves from its current 20 before I upgrade. However, those MX-200s do look lovely!

I notice you're from Wilts. If you can get to the M4 J19/M32 J1, you'll be able to try them out at The Hambrook Golf Range if they've got a set. That way, you'll know if you can hit them or not. I suppose you could try the MX-100s as well if they've got them, although they look a bit chunkier.

Let me know if you get to try 'em!

I tried them out but IMO you cant work them as much as my titleist 775s. On the topic of mx100s - i wouldnt go for them unless yer crap because there big chunks of metal really lol

I've hit quite a few mis-hits since I've had them and they haven't rattled my bones yet.
Very forgiving and if you collar them right you don't feel the ball leave the club at all.
I love 'em.
The 100's are the cast version, not forged, and slightly bigger headed. A bit more chunky.

:D

What do you mean by that ?

I liked the irons but when I tested them I just couldnt draw, fade and spin them as much or as easily- possibly my swing . :D Just my opinion

I have had mine about a month now and if i am honest they have taken a bit of getting used to. I do like them at address and the mis hits do still go a distance. As a mid-high handicapper i am very confident that i will learn to love them.

The MX200 ARE the best irons on the market in the category. They offer super forgivness and the best feel from an iron I have ever played with.

Been playing my MX20's for years now, the MX200's are just Golf Porn, the only set of irons since the MX20's that look lovely for above, underneath, from the side and the other side........just pure sex in Golf language, just wish I had the money to buy a set.....

Oh well, the MX20's for a little longer :p

I have had the MX-200's for 3 months now, when you hit them sweet the feel is fantastic. The miss hits let you know you haven't hit them correct but still travel a fair distance.

wont be changing them for years i reckon!

FWIW I tried them based upon a recommendation and review in one of the Golf Mags, but I didn't and still don't like the look of them. I tried Nike, Mizuno, TM, Ping and Titleist, but fell in love with my S9's.

I reckon they are sexier, TBH, I was looking at the 200's the other day at the range/shop, I still think they look cheap-ish.

Just my opinion, please don't all attack me, I'm very aware this a pro-Mizuno zone on this forum.

Gustavo - As a Mizuno MX-200 owner I actually agree with you. I've recently been fitted by Mizuno a couple of months ago and I wanted to have the MP-52's instead because I feel that they are a much sexier looking club (I also wanted a more bladed club). But the results from my test day screamed MX-200 so I went with them.

Have I been pleased with them? Yes, but I am on my second set now having had my 1st set for 4weeks I was just starting to get used to them, they were then stolen and have just waited another 5weeks and picked up my 2nd set today!!

Do i recommend them? absolutely ;)
