Thanks HTL,
interesting reply by Mizuno, basically saying 'tough' to the questioner.
Hoping my buy isn't a dud, will find out soon enough!

I looked up cobra M speed and that comes with YS design....which I have in my irons. Also, only 45"....
Might try and look out for one of these in the sales.

I guessing you not into longer shafts, I find they cause more harm than good.

Andy....too right mate....the manufacturers are losing all sense with this. Add an inch.....gain a few yards.....everyone's a winner? NO :(

If I didn't wany to hit the ball straight, I'd buy a 50".....

Callaway have stuck at 45" with most "proper" drivers (i.e. not the gimmicky stuff) and that's what I've been used to for years, ever since the early Big Berthas.

Update- driver arrived today, everything in A1 condition, all accessories present, no question of authenticity, all parts new,

Has a Lamkin crossline grip which I might change to a new decade in blue otherwise all perfect.

Very happy with my £99 spent. ;)

Hopefully I can hit it!

Hi,

I went to Mizuno for an iron fitting about 7 weeks ago, and the next weekend went for the driver fitting. The MP 600 was a real surprise to me; it was far longer than I expected. Having purchased the 52's (they are superb), I have yet to take the plunge with the MP600.

At £249.00 I was reticent to carry on spending money having shelled out for the 52's, a couple of wedges and a couple of hybrids, but now at £99.00 the MP600 is a real steal. I checked out the reseller's website and he doesn't have my fitting: regular shaft 10.5 loft. The cheapest I've seen is £165.00 second hand!

I'm off to the states for New Year so perhaps a visit to a golf shop there will help. Anyone have any suggestions for a good outlet in New York City or the Lake Placid area?

Thanks for reading,

Rick.

Thanks for the reply madandra.

Unfortunately there isn't an outlet close to either of the locations I am visiting, and they are advertising their price for the MP-600 at $399.00.
Perhaps the "over production" (supply greater than demand) applies to Europe.
