I have just seen a post on the Mizuno forum from staff that they are now charging £50 for fitting at the National centre at Burhill Golf Club. As they do not directly sell clubs, I can only deduce that you cant off set this against a purchase but I could be wrong.

I'd be very suprised if that was the case. They'd be one of the only manufacturers not to do that, surely?

Maybe you get a one-off code or something, but that seems like a liot of hassle for all concerned.

The only one I have experience of is Titleist, and they charge.

I'd say your only chance of getting it back against clubs would be to book through the shop you're going to buy the clubs from, but then you're not going to get price matched I'd imagine so you'll still end up paying for it.

Well worth it imo as getting the right clubs first time is still less than the price of just one club if you get it wrong.

I've had free fitting at Mizuno in the past and been charged £50 for fitting at Taylor Made, and to be quite frank, I did not grudge the 50 quid one bit.

The difference was night and day.Taylor Made fitting was exceptional.Mizuno was poor.

My club is a local fitting centre and does all the swing DNA. They had a mizuno demo day were I was fitted for JPX Pros, I think they normally charge £30 for fitting but take it off it you buy.

I'm booked in at national centre Burhill and there was / is no mention of any charge on my confirmation?
I booked it a few months ago mind?

Just checked their website and there is indeed now a £50 charge upfront.
This was not on there a few months ago.
