Currently burning heating oil up here in Aberdeenshire like I'm trying to make the biggest carbon footprint in history! 370 litres burned in the last two and a half weeks - having to ebay all the Xmas presents just to get by! Just be glad if you're on mains gas.

Not that bad down here and you guys up there have my sympathy. Just put the bin out for collection tomorrow but can't help feeling I've been a tad optimistic as the snow has started to freeze already
It has even played havoc with our bins Homer!!
Put mine out for Monday emptying but due to snow they couldn't collect,was told by the binman (birds uncle)it 'may' get done Tuesday.....it did but strangely most on my street didn't and neither did my Dads who is on the same route.....anything to do with who you know I wonder? Strange!
