Midlands Meet

Any interest in a Midlands get together, maybe early September? I know there are a good few members on here from our region, so I'm sure we could do something. As per most of these ideas, a week day would probably work out cheaper. Any thoughts or ideas? Feel free to PM me.

Well if someone is crying out for a game I'm only a pm away. Anywhere in the Staffs Derbyshire Leicester area is normally OK for me.

I had the pleasure of playing at Stoke Rochford GC yesterday and would definately recommend it for a meet. Lovely, well kept course with some great scenery and wildlife with good access off the Northbound A1.

Wish I had known, was having a stroll round on my own for a bit of practice yesterday.

Can you see what I mean about the drive on the first. Still convinced I will slice one through the pro shop window one day.

Sorry, it was a fairly short notice thing, I only found out we where playing there yesterday morning. I was terrified on the 1st tee and those greens and are nasty! Really enjoyed the course even after shooting a poor 99.

The greens do take a bit of getting used to. The tip is that however it looks, they tend to break towards the stream.

99 is not a bad score for first time out.

If you want to play there again, let me know and I will gladly sign you in.

Everything sloped!!! The only time the ball was level with my feet was on the Tee. I will gladly take you up on your offer. Does anybody else fancy it? I still fancy an early Sept date.
