Microwave question

When we had our kitchen redone about 6 years ago, we got an all-singing AEG combination oven complete with no-turntable rotating antenna microwave. It cost nearly £1000, and as a microwave it's a disaster. The rotating antenna clearly doesn't do what it's supposed to; there are hot spots all over the place. Try to defrost something and one part will start to burn while another place is still frozen. We ended up buying a cheap microwave and just used the AEG as a (staggeringly expensive) conventional oven.

Your probably right but it’s built in and I’m replacing the kitchen next year so don’t want to spend big money. The little motor replacement looks an easy fix.
