Michael Johnson has mini stroke

The American runner who has won four Olympic gold medals has had a mini stroke. He is a legend I can listen to all day long. Thought he was an excellent athlete and an even better pundit.
Hope he makes a speedy recovery.

Sad news. Always found him interesting. Can remember Atlanta 96, the hype, the pressure, the gold shoes and that stunning 200 / 400 double. Loved the way it looked like he was leaning back when he ran.

Once saw a clip of him running on telly, on the other half of the screen was Jesse Owen. There running styles were nigh on identical.

Sad to hear this, and I hope he makes a speedy recovery. As an ex athlete hopefully he will have the background fitness to help his recovery.
One of my all time favourites - an incredible athlete and as has been said, great to listen to as a pundit.
