Mentmore, Beds

I am going to play mentmore's Rothchild course on thursday, has anyone played it before and whats it like. I hear it has a fair bit of water

I have played it but not for several years. Its a pretty long track, plenty of typical parkland features. I reckon the fairways will be as hard as iron but the greens soft as putty!
Always thought Mentmore had an overly "up-themslves" attitude but it could all have changed.

Don't change your shoes in the car park!!

I heard it was in pretty good condition at the moment but like every other course in the south east it will be hard as rock.

I've heard also that they are very up themselves to the point of rudeness. We were warned away and played Brampton instead which was very friendly
