Membership in north west is expensive!

One of the things is local population. The north west is a very heavily populated area, so a lot of potential customers. Go to Cumbria and North wales and the fees are a lot cheaper, as they don't have the same amount to fill it. These will also have lots of country memberships, who help to fill it up.

Played some awesome courses around the Pitlochry area in Scotland in the past (Pitlochry GC, Aberfeldy GC and Strathtay GC). Full membership at these ranges from £165 to £440 - Absolute steal! Shame English courses of similar standards are nowhere near as cheap.

Seems a bit too much of a coincidence that pretty much alk of the private members clubs around ky are charge about £675 per year
