Home, Parkland course will be £980 for 7 days & pretty much, until this year, all year round golf on grass tees & greens. £320 for 6 day Country membership of a Championship Links just 80mins easy drive away (£20 in fuel sometimes shared) & definitely all year round golf, when wind allows :p
Great contrasts of golf at a very economic price.
Seaton are undertaking serious course renovation so have stuck £60 on all memberships for 2020. That's about 11% more for Full members but close to 20% for Country. Has priced me out really as I can simply 'guest' in future. Shame.

I’m just over 900 a year and feel it’s worth every penny. Considering joining a second links course on some kind of winter membership next year simply for some variety, so on the lookout for that.

I think there are only 2 more expensive courses in the area, one being Gleneagles, which isn’t really direct competition I would say.
