Isn't this sacking business getting a bit silly now, only 2 points off automatic promotion and fresh from winning the local derby at the weekend

I agree. If your club is struggling a la Wolves then sacking the manager and getting a fresh perspective MIGHT just give you the impetus to survive. However get your side in contention for automatic promotion like Megson and Lee Clarke at Huddersfield and sack him at the crucial run in phase seems blinkered at best by the board bordering on the plain crazy. Unless there were some undisclosed behind th scenes reason why would either club get rid now and not wait to see how the season panned out
