I dont think medal format favours either type of player. In medals If a low handicapper butchers a hole its just as hard for them to go on to a good round because they cant make any more mistakes.
Stableford is just attack golf which i reckon slightly favours high handicappers because they have 2 shots on some holes etc and theres set shots per hole and less score management is needed.
