Looking at giving this a go with a mate and just wondering if many off here have entered before and see what their thoughts of it?
Its £60 for a pair, but does anyone know if you play home and away with this one or is the first round just either home or away?

If it's the Nike (used to be Volvo) then each round is home or away rather than both. In fact I think the draw is done for each subsequent round too so luck of the draw throughout. No guarantee there will be courtesy of the course offered so you may have to share the green fees with your opponents - home or away...

Its a different one to the Nike Amanda, and I think the 1st round is only 18 holes home OR away, pretty sure its just the southern and northern matchplay comps that are 36 holes in 1st round

Seochris has played it a few times i think he even got to the final last year.

He gave me the impression its was one of those things won by "the usual suspects";)

Sometimes seen on tet Trilby tour;)

Just come back from the Dubai grand finals!
its straight knockout, the sooner your result us in the more chance of a home match.. We played 4 away and 1 home match.
overall an amazing experience, you really are treated like pros fir a week (apart from the 327 quid airport tax we had to each pay).

The singles this year was successfully defended by Paul Llewellyn. Must be some player to get to the finals twice in a row, let alone win it twice in a row.

wasn't a popular winner that's for sure - was playing off 5 so not the rouge I was led to believe he was (understood he was off 13).

One of the singles was off 11, the rest were single fig - guess that was down to the horrific weather at the regional finals where 30 points won and 27 got in at 4th!

Most pairs were both low - mid single figs apart from winners who were highest handicap pair (10 & 13) but top guys and were the peoples champs too!

SEOChris Told me last year in the final he shot 4 scores in the 40 points around the Erls Earth Course over 7000 yards of 3/4 i think then he was still of double fi handicap.
