Apart from Jugs (a lightweight) tonight's presentation I thought was poor. No continuity; presenters well past their sell-buy date; not a patch on Sky.

I thought it was poor too with constant switching to interviews but that is purely down to the feed from the host broadcaster and the fact that they keep going to ad breaks. The BBC obviously have to fill that gap. It has always been like that on the first few days. It would be the same if sky or setanta had the rights as there are strict limits set by the Augusta club on what can be shown live on the first few days and all networks are getting the same picture feed from the host broadcaster

.....and due to the unique way the BBC is funded I don't have to put up with that awful music and RBS advertising telling me that Monty has won a lot of OOMs and Dale someone won a Tour event when he was 18 (thankfully he's gone now though......I think)......or am I funding that now as well....

Best coverage last night was earlier in the evening, interactive on BBC which showed continous coverage of amen corner, 2nd shots on 11 and all shots on 12 and 13.

Due to the unique way the beeb is funded, they are not supposed to advertise or show any sort of favoritism. I heard Peter Aliss (I love the man by the way) mention this is the masters, sponsored by Mercendes Benz and AT&T....I've a good mind to write to the BBC and ask for my money back!

Loving every minute of it by the way ;o)

I heard / noticed that as well and was very surprised. The way he dropped them both in by saying 'in case you have just joined us you are watching the masters sponsored by...' definitely gave the impression that he was under instruction to promote these companies / organisations. Strange.
