Massive watch dilema

Omega don't make a watch movement anymore. They are a marketing company that buys a movement and repackages it. Consequently, I would avoid but that is purely personal preference.

Jaeger Le Coultre or Patek Phillipe for me. Lovely but out of my budget for now.

Perversely, I have two Seamasters from the 1960's. Neither keep time well enough to wear as a normal watch though and the servicing costs are high.

Baume et Mercier Riviera for me. Elegance without a huge cost! Bought an early one at an Antique fair many moons ago thinking I'd wear it as a Dress one, but it hardly left my wrist! Sold it a while ago, but it may be available for re-purchase!

Bought a later (thinner) one that was even better, then a chono version that I couldn't read!!!

Solar powered/Redio controlled Casio Edifice is my 'reference timepiece' these days, but a bit big for me and my flimsy wrist. An earlier SP/RC version got a bit scraped (on the road) when I had an accident a while ago! Cheap Seiko is the everyday watch and keeps perfect time, something my mate's 20K Rolex doesn't do without frequent 1K+ services!! Also have a Seiko Automatic, but that loses 30 secs or so a day, which (having experienced the Radio Controlled accuracy) is unacceptable, so in a 'reject' bowl these days!
