With my 7 iron in two pieces went looking for a new set of irons. Went without any preconceived ideas.
Hit 6 irons from a number of different manufacturers. The stats from the flightscope suggested best three were:
Cally X20, Wilson DI9 and Wilson CI7.
Best stats were from the CI7.
As i currently use wilson Deep Reds i am tempted to stay with the brand. Personally i like the look of the CI7's.

Any forummers have any experience of the CI7's or any other suggestions.

X-20 are a bit extreme for me. OK in tour spec.
Out of Di7 and Ci7, the C's would get my vote. I have hit all (including the Pi as well) and like them all....except they need to re-number the whole set :) (lofts ??!?!?!?)

Go for the Ci7s!

At the moment i currently play the Di7's and i cannot find 1 fault with them.......Off your handicap though i think the Ci7's would be the best bet as these are Wilsons control irons...... Shots can be shaped alot easier with these than there mor muscley brother the Di's. Bare in mind though that wilson are soon to release the new model Ci9's and word through the grapevine is that these are supposed to be beautiful to both look at and hit...

TRS30 Halpenny golf in airside have a deal with Golfvision also in airside----€10 for 30 mins, also offer custom fitting if required.

Took the plunge and purchased the CI7's in Halpennys.

Also got a fybrid 3 wood for €60--some good deals available in Halpennys.

TRS30-----golfvision looks ok, only used it to test drive the clubs.
If you want to play a few courses in the comfort of a heated room in winter its the job.

Probable beats a cold range.
