Last year I won a pair of design them yourself Footjoy shoes, RRP £299, and unfortunately, when they arrived, they were a bit too small. Couldn't return them because they are personalised ise with my initials (bad decision!) Got them stretched at the Cobblers but one is still giving me bother.

A mate of mine had the same problem & said he solved it by stuffing the shoe with wet paper & putting it in the freezer. Has anyone else tried this? Does it work? Any other solutions?

You may find these in the "For Sale" section soon.

For my football boots I used to wear them in the bath for an hour so they stretched and fit to my feet, then take them off and let them dry out.

I won a pair of Icons a while ago and were fitted to me perfectly, so were worn straight from the box. Only trouble was they stretched a fair bit withing a few months and now are far too big, i bang my toes while walking.
I would suggest wearing them in a bit around the house before taking on the course.
