After reading the Newcastle Mackem thread, with the odd smoggy voice thrown in, how about all who enjoy the footy make a prediction for the top 6, see who comes closest.

I'll get the ball rolling with:-

1st Man Utd
2nd Man City
3rd Chelsea

Now it gets a bit more difficult

6th Newcastle

Sevco to win their first trophy in the form of the 3rd Division Championship by a street and then claim it's another world record.

Scotland to draw 0-0 with Luxembourg and Avril to tell us it's 'progress'.

Don't actually think the toon will get top 6 this season although would love to be proved wrong. The lack of strength in depth in defence is gonna kill us this season.

I go for 3-1 Barcelona. Anything better than that will be a decent result for Celtic. The fact that they are not expected to win or draw (you can get 25/1 or better on a Celtic victory) might mean that they go out there and have a go, thus losing 8-0.

Stop believing everything Sky tell you and actually watch the standard of football and you will see that its not the best league in the world and before you or anyone else says it, yes I know its of a far higher standard than the Scottish leagues.

If you want to find "the best league in the world" make a list of the top say 20 players in the world and look at what league they are playing in, I think you will find it isnt the Premiership.

I think after Sunday we will have a bit more of an idea how the league will pan out. If Utd beat us then they will overhaul us at the top very quickly.
