Just had the blurb through today asking if I'd take part again as I've done so before. Having done it round Royal Ascot twice I was thinking what I could do that would be different and thought about four rounds at four courses. Plenty around in the vicinity and thought if I could get their agreement we could start at Bird Hills at first light, dash round to Blue Mountain (ten minute drive) for round 2, over to the Downshire for round 3 and finish at Royal Ascot.
Logistically it seems to work out pretty well. They are all pay and play except Ascot (which is home) so hopefully they might be more amenable to letting us on without the need to pre-book a time as it might be tricky to stick to exact timings. It looks promising although the Downshire mid/late afternoon may be the slowest and could throw a spanner in the works for getting the last round done in time. Anyone else thinking about the Macmillan Challenge and anyone fancy making a 4 if I can work the details out. Certainly a bit different and definitely better than 4 rounds on the same course. Alternatively if anyone is planning to play in this and needs someone to make up the numbers I'm game
