How could I miss this photo out. Golf's biggest poser, the man in the midst of his mid life crisis...........

And here modelling the latest BHS range of golf clothing including obligatory porn star styled and groomed goatee is GM's answer to Tom Cruise..... Steve Kemlo!!!

An Absolutely Cracking Day Out.

The Course really is a hidden treasure and truly is right up there with the very best links courses to be found anywhere. As Steve and others have said the welcome in the clubhouse and the quality of food was superb.

A Big Thankyou to Crawford for organising the Outing, Steve and all the others who donated prizes and made this such a great event. Had Crawford, Alan and Andrew as partners and was given a lesson by Andrew in hitting drivers off the fairway on the long par 4's/5's into the teeth of the wind. Shots I could only dream about.

The Fife Two Ball are similarly looking forward to the 2011 return and staying over does sound good.

There is a pattern developing here!

We are already talking about staying over as well and playing Dunaverty the next day to blow away the cobwebs before a "gentle" drive down the road.

Another of Scotland's true hidden gems.

Here's a few more photos from the day. I apologise that most are from the first tee however that's where the action was and I was out game 5! Cant get round everyone on the course.

A battle scarred AMcC, see the look of terror in his eyes.

Looks like a great day out in the wind :)

A must play course and i'd probably be up for it next year if it's on... the greens look great for this time of year considering some i've seen lately!!!

I've kayak-surfed that beach... with a pod of dolphins leaping around at the same time!!! magical place.

Lets just say it was a character building back nine into that wind.

I don't mind playing in the wind however that was tough. Every shot was a battle, and every stroke was a prisoner. Ordinarily I would have been fizzing at 10 points however on reflection I don't really know if I could have shaved any shots off my score. Apart from a skulled pitch right through the back of the 11th and a 3 putt I couldnt have picked up much more.

I'm sure there will be hard luck stories in every game but maybe not on the back nine.

When you see how good young Andy's swing looks at the top and how effortless he makes it look I don't think any of us have swings of beauty!

Some good photies of the course there, Fabian. Thanks for sharing. It really is a cracker, eh? I've been lucky enough to play it once...but didn't get the blue skies you did...although of course we did get the wind. The turbines up on the hill are a clue to the prevailing environment. I reckon that if there's ever a calm day down there then all the lights in Norway go out.

:D

Report has to be limited to 125 words!!!!

That wouldn't even do the welcome and the food justice. Still I'll try my best.
