Played lough erne on saturday what a spot!!!

£65 on saturday not bad!!

weather was good, bit blowy on 1 and 2 but then went

course over all was great greens good fair ways in great shape, one thing that was good, distances in the fair way were on the sprinkier heads so there was a great deal distance all over

there were a few holes over the water but not as many as you would think

funny how 16 was par 5 17 par 4 and then 18 was a par 3
seams fuuny to finish on a par 3 on a course such as this

the place was great and staff could not do much more to help

just a great day was had by all

one for the book for next year and any body looking for a game should think about it

somebody was asking me what do i think between it and concra wood that i have played the both

hard to say, there as be much more money spent at lough erne to finish it off but give concra wood a year or two and it will be there

The course is a peach. Lots of variety and top quality wherever you look. It looks the part too and should attract some big championships in the future.

How does it compare with Concra Wood? They're both surrounded by lake but that's about as much of a comparison as you can make. The rhythm, design and challenges are quite different. There's a lot more movement on the holes at Concra Wood, whereas Lough Erne has a regal, luxurious feel to it.

They're both worth a visit

Looks really good .saw it on the telly when McIroy played Harrington but the £30 grand joining fee and £1500 subs have just put me of joining for my holiday course :D
