Longest day challenge.

I know this is a little early but our lads are having to do it tomorrow as 2 of them are away on the 21st.

They should be somewhere near the tenth at Lanhydrock GC about now. I couldn't do it this year as I had a knee op in October so I'm just doing what I can to get more money in for the lads.
To be honest gripit I don't know what your level of general fitness is but having only played 2 rounds this year you might struggle.

The lads teed off for their second course at 10:20 and are still in good spirits.

Just got a reply from someone on another forum I have this on who thinks they are cheating as they are using trolleys. :rofl:

Trolleys allowed...buggies are not...! One of our chaps is carrying next week though albeit with a stripped down bag.

Well the lads finished at about 9:15. All were very tired but in good spirits. All 4 of them drove well down the last (for the first time!) with Phil the pro firing in a perfect approach that hit the pin. Gary hit a lovely shot into the right side just off the green with Alan and Cliff making it to the green and putting out.
They all did really well just to make it through the 72 holes without a single hole where all 4 of them had a blob which is a great achievement on it's own.
For all those going in for this over the next few weeks good luck.

I decided to do this as my Mother in Law was diagnosed with pancretic cancer last July unfortunatly she lost her battle on Saturday so it will have a very special meaning to me tomorrow.
