I went for a lesson at end of Dec to fix my swing which was out to in and causing me to slice the ball.

Pro changed my grip and my swing at the down swing to a more of a snap before hitting the ball.

Been going to the range 3 times a week now but how long does it take to bed in a change in swing as still feels awkward

I'd have a few more lessons to make sure your getting the movement correct.

My 1st question would be are you sure you are actually doing what the pro told you? You probably need to go see him a couple more times to be sure you are A) doing it right and B) haven't introduced another fault.

I agree. Most swing changes should start to bed in within two or three weeks. You either haven't got the hang of the drills properly or have compensated in some way and introduced anoter fault. Get back to the pro and ask him to explain the drills again and maybe get another lesson
