Just wondering if you can buy very long handle umbrellas(any links:D), ie. so I can put them in the umbrella holder and not have my head in the umbrella.

Did a google and not sure I am searching on the right terms and how to find them.

cheers

Forgot to say, I have the motocaddy one with a couple of clear panels. That may not be the problem you are looking to solve though!

Shhh, I'm on Dragons Den next week with an extendable handle for 6ft'ers so they don't have to crouch under the brolly, I've aimed my pitch at Peter Jones who's a keen and very tall golfer, but don't tell anyone, I haven't got it patented yet :smirk:

If you use a ClicGear trolley, put the handle up to the highest position, use the ClicGear adjustable umbrella holder and the ClicGear 68" umbrella and at 6' 6" you can comfortably stand and walk upright under it.

If you are using an electric trolley you are stuffed, they are all too low.

One of my regular partners made an extender from a couple of pieces of plastic pipe. Slightly different diameters, fits snugly in the motocaddy holder, and the umbrella fits in the top. makes it about 6 inches higher than normal and works perfectly.

He's made them for all of our group now....

That is exactly what a PP has got, he is about 6 ft 3". It works a treat.
However he is going into hospital soon to have a knee replacement and when that is done he will stop having legs like Malcolm McDonald and may well need another brolly extender
