Login problem

Daveyc2k2 is having a problem logging in to the website, can someone help?

He gets directed to a sign in page, enters his details, it tells him he has logged in but then sends him back to the sign in page. He has cleared his cookies but still not happening for him.

This happened to me as well. I had to tick the 'remember me' box to make it work, which I didn't really want to do.

Go in and clear his cookies, cache temporary internet files, if in IE can do throught internet options. Other browserss i dont know.

He's not having much joy unfortunately. Seems to be happening to me in a way as well, keep logging in and ticking the "remember me" function, making a post and then 5 minutes later I'm logged out and need to log in again.

They are still working on things so hold in there, Im having issues myself, the re login thing has happened a few times if i have stopped to do something for a few minutes and not stayed active it seems to forget me lol

Ok, wasn't aware they were carrying out some work. He's still able to read the forum just can't login to post......not a bad thing.

Did you clear your cookies?
Fixed it for me.

Cookie clearing sorted it on my ipad

Hmmmm Dave still having problems today, has tried everything by the sounds of it. Very odd. I wonder if his work have put a restriction on his PC somehow.

Dave is saying that the website accepts his login but anytime he try's to go anywhere after having logged in, it then asks him to login again. After logging in he is also receiving a message at the bottom of the page which says...

"Our records show that you have already registered under the name of daveyc2k2. If you have lost your password, click here. If you would like to modify your profile, click here"

Forget that message, that's from when he tried to register again with a different username. He's getting desperate, he might have to actually do some work soon.

I think there's definitely an issue here still. I've cleared my cookies and re-logged in quite a few times. I use Chrome on a PC and it seems the "remember me" option doesn't work. Every time I revisit the forum it has logged me out again and I have to re-login. This started yesterday on both my home and work PCs. It's very frustrating. I have not changed any settings in my browser on either PC and the forum will just not keep me logged in.
