I'm currently in the market for a 60 degree wedge, and am looking to spend about £50. Does anyone have any reccomendations from online retailers? Also I am unsure as to how much bounce I require, can anyone help with this one?

great shout madandra, couldn't find it on Nevada Bobs but found it for £34.49 on pricebuster golf. Looks like its currently between the MD Superstrong and the Cleveland CG11 black satin, from online golf for £50.

I know what your saying about cleveland copies having seen what were obviously fake cg14's for £30 each. I think I could trust the authenticity of products from online golf though, (www.onlinegolf.co.uk). I am currently more tempted by the clevelands as I have found little documentation on the MD's, have you used both of these wedges?

is £39 the price once you have signed up to the website? The price I'm being shown is £44.99 which I still think is brilliant. Thanks for the reccomendation though, although another great option hasn't helped my decision process!

If you ring the boys direct at the chatham branch, tell them you saw it advertised for £39 and they should do it for you.

I have 2 of these wedges in 56* and 60* and really rate them.

Whatever you do don't go to pricebuster.

thanks for the advice john, much appreciated. If I decide to buy the Mizunos I will give them a ring, and I won't buy from pricebuster don't worry.

Dont take this the wrong way,but why would you want a 60 degree lob wedge, most high handicap golfers would be better using a 7,8,9, iron round about the green, at the very most a 56 degree wedge.

no offence taken divot, but my inaccurate approach shots regularly leave me right or left of the green with short shots often over bunkers being required with very little green to play with. I am therfore looking for something to help me get the ball up and down quicker, as I often pitch the ball onto a good area only to see it run on a considerable way past the hole. Don't get me wrong though I accept what your saying and if a chip shot was required which was not over a hazzard I would use a 7,8 or 9 iron. I just thought I would give a lob wedge a go, whihc is why I'm not looking to spend much money.

GB72, I have considered this option as I have the SV tour 56* wedge, but I was looking to give something else a try as although I like the club I just feel that something else will offer me more.

I've thought about it all day, and have decided to buy the CG11 wedge and have just placed my order with online golf. Thanks to all who offered help/advice.

If you ordered the 3 dot...only god can help you...

CG11 is as good as it gets i.m.o.

yep don't worry, I went to the trouble of phoning my teaching pro and he said to get the two dott standard bounce, as my angle of attack did not require either high or low bounce. I Appreciate the concern though.
