Sorry to hear the sad news David, all our thoughts and prayers are with you and all your family at his time. As you said it has been a terrible year for your family. Had heard your dad became a freeman of North Ayrshire recently which was nice but means nothing at this time. Take care and chin up, as someone else said, I am sure you will have many happy memories of him to help you through the immediate future.

cheers for the support boys, it was my brothers funeral on friday. i managed to hold it together just. although im sure thats the easy part dealt with. big turnout at the church and crematourium. struggling sleep wise 2 hours a night is killing me. plus told this morning one of my aunts passed away last night so will keep the suit out for that, happy days, anyone got a good joke to help lift this?
