hi folks bigslice aka David Munn is asking all his online golfing partners to help out. a year and half ago my young brother died aged 35!! he suffered from Ulcerative Colitis and unbeknown to me Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis. both of these meant he would require a liver transplant. I cant type anymore as its making me greet.

basically the Munn family and friends are going to climb GoatFell on The isle of Arran on May the 25th 2013. and the plan is to raise as much money as we can. my sister is moving abroad to work (that's another story) so this will be the first and probably last for a few years to make a big push to raise a lot of dosh.
ive got my facebook friends and twitter folk on the case and hopefully get a few of you to have a look at

http://www.justgiving.com/Munn

and just to make it a wee bit interesting my sister has decided we will do it in superhero outfits!!!!:o so pictures will be posted. my plan was also to take a golf club and some balls up, so I could claim to hit the highest shot in Ayrshire. but that would be silly, would it?
thanks for reading and any donations is a bonus.
ps do you give blood? do you carry a donor card? have a wee think thanks again:thup: :whoo:

Davey, good luck with this.

Due to your generosity in letting us play Irvine for free last year, I'll give Valentino a tenner, you can put it to your fundraising.

Good luck to you and all the Munn Family.

just a thought as I wont be asking you for money every year for this. if everyone who has viewed this gave just a £1 that would go a long way to help supporting liver research.

ok we have nearly reached £1500, but come on folks ive been on this forum for 3 n a bit years and this is the first and only time I will ask you for dosh. yes some of you don't know me but this is very personal to the Bigslice household. so if everyone who viewed this donated a £1 and tick gift aid that would be mean a lot.
I only found out that my brother had lived his life knowing he would need a liver transplant, when he phoned and said he had liver failure. 8 weeks before he died, this was not enough time for us to see if our my liver was suitable for a live partial donation.

even if you don't donate have a think about your family and any future health issues. thanks for reading and love life live long!!!!

Great effort so far...maybe tell people who your "superhero" outfit is of...start a poll to see if he actually is superhero? lol

Will get my donation sorted this week for you.

ahh I forgot I will be dressed as Bananaman who was and still is my favourite superhero. this caused a big argument at 4am Saturday morning with some bananaman haters who say he isn't a real superhero, discuss please. im also toying with the idea of wearing if it survives the climb and if allowed to wear it during a round at Machrahanish. this may help you donate money, what do you think.
I don't mind looking like an idiot for charity, plus I should be able to fly round the course in 3 1/2 hours no bother, while 'chomping' on bananas:D

Davie have faith.

The Machrihanish crew have something sorted for you.

We all know he's not, silly yellow and blue muppet who swims through the air!
