What's the most you've had in a round? I had 6 yesterday...and 7 today, SEVEN!

Frustrating to say the least.

Lip outs?? or simply the ball catches the lip, but in all likelyhood wasnt going to drop anyway?
Yeah, see your point, I can confirm 4 were bone fide, one hit the back of the hole and jumped up and over, and two burnt the edge and changed direction 20° or so. I also had 2 lip-ins that did their best to stay out.

My pro gave me a drill to reduce these, put a tee in front of the hole, right on the lip and dead centre. Then try and putt balls from 3,6 and 9 feet to just nudge the tee and not bounce back more than a couple of CM.

Do it from 3 feet 1st for a while, what you will notice is any that miss the tee with the right pace will still drop if they catch the lip. Lip outs are caused by you putting too firmly. Once I had done this drill for a while I started holing a lot more putts!

That would be a great drill if my main problem with putting wasn't dollying ;)

I think I've had 2 or 3 in a round but to me they are like hitting the woodwork in football, they seem unlikely but are ultimately a miss

I try and take the positive out of it especially from 6 feet and further and that I gave the ball a great chance. It is still an extra shot either way but at least hitting the hole and not missing by inches meant it had half a chance. Would tell me it was a good read and just a tad out on pace. Cup always half full this year!
